COVID-19 and the Spring Real Estate Market

Selling

Does COVID-19 mean this Spring is a bad time to sell your house?  NO!

While the Spring housing market is experiencing unprecedented shifts there is still lots of demand for houses, especially in the entry price points, and interest rates are still very low. But throughout the last decade it has never been more important to have a realtor then it is right now.

 - Houses sold with a REALTOR sell for more than sold-by-owner because REALTORS can generate more interest from potential buyers with tested marketing plans and peer access.
 - Realtors can keep a deal together, many deals fall apart after the inspection.  Having an experienced REALTOR negotiating, managing the process, and coaching nervous buyers can mean the difference between getting to the closing table and starting over.

Because of COVID-19 it’s important you work with the right REALTOR!

 - The more potential buyers that see your home whether virtual or in person the faster your home will sell and for more money. So you want an agent that can get your home exposed to the potential buyers digitally. With a pause on open houses you may opt for 3-D photography giving potential buyer’s the ability to view the house virtually in the same level of detail they would at an open house.

-  Experts expect that COVID-19 and effects from it will probably be around for most of 2020.  The right realtor has a good digital marketing plan and a good health safety plan. You can’t have a great digital marketing plan without professional 3-D photos and video to use on all the social media sites.

Many of today's Millennial buyers are already exclusively using the internet for things Generation X and Baby Boomers would not do exclusively online. As 2020 progresses a slowdown in the housing market is inevitable because of the slowdown in the economy.  If you want to sell your home in 2020 May-August t will be a great time.  Ask me about my digital marketing plan and health safety plan.
